Ambetter from Managed Health Services is sponsoring a health fair and screening event hosted by the Northern Indiana Hispanic Health Coalition.

The health fair takes place from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, Sept. 29, at St. John Catholic School, located at 117 W. Monroe St. in Goshen.

Ambetter from MHS will be onsite and present “How to Choose a Health Plan That Fits Your Needs and Your Budget!” This presentation will focus on explaining the healthcare laws, checking eligibility for financial assistance, answering questions and providing information to individuals and families on health insurance by Ambetter from MHS.

There will also be a number of free screenings offered, including screenings for cholesterol, glucose, blood pressure, body mass index, and oxygen saturation, among others. No appointments are necessary, and providers will be on hand to explain the results.
