Symphony of the Lakes’ European, Russian Masters Concert
The Symphony of the Lakes and conductor Tom Stirling will be performing music composed by European and Russian master composers. The Symphony of the Lakes will be performing at 8 p.m. at the Warsaw Performing Arts Center on Oct. 4, 2014.
The European and Russian Masters concert is designed for new and experienced symphony lovers. This concert’s repertoire – all five pieces – have a story to tell both historically and musically. The concert will include Tchaikovsky’s piece “Capriccio Italian” and Symphony No. 8 “The Unfinished” by Franz Schubert just to name a few.
Music Director and Symphony of the Lakes Conductor Tom Stirling say, “The music in this concert will surprise you because once you hear these songs you will realize it isn’t the first time you have heard them. Each piece has its own unique style and beauty. But it’s not just about the music, it’s about the story the music tells”.
