Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accident:

6:20 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 1, West SR 25 and South CR 800W, Mentone. Driver: Kerry J. Phillips, 43, South CR 1000W, Mentone. Phillips’ vehicle struck a deer. Damage up to $2,500.

North Webster Police Department

Officers with the North Webster Police Department investigated the following accident:

11:50 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 1, 301 N. Main Street, North Webster. Drivers: Celeste M. Battig, 33, EMS T2 Lane, North Webster and Jama L. Stull, 26, North CR 250E, Warsaw. Battig was backing from a parking space and struck the Stull vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.

Warsaw Police Department

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

6:35 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 1, North Hickory Street and East Center Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Ryan C. Czerwinski 23, Chinworth Court, Warsaw, and WIlliam G. Jefferies, 67, West Blanchard Street, Warsaw. Czerwinski attempted to drive his vehicle through a gap in stopped traffic and failed to see the eastbound Jefferies vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.

12:07 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 1, 1000 Provident Drive, Warsaw. Driver: Michelle L. Cox, 45, East CR 700S, Pierceton and Kimberly A. Furnival, 50, West Woodland Hills Drive South, Warsaw. Cox was attempting to leave a parking lot, with her view obstructed by a parked vehicle at the entrance/exit. She started proceeding forward and stopped her vehicle after clearing the truck, when her vehicle was struck from behind by Furnival’s vehicle. Damage estimated up to $2,500.
