NWS Issues Freeze Warning For Northern Indiana
The National Weather Service has issued a freeze warning for northern Indiana, including Kosciusko, Elkhart, Whitley, Wabash, and St. Joseph Counties. The warning is in effect from 4 a.m., Sunday, Oct. 19, until 9 a.m. the same day.
According to the warning: clearing skies and diminishing winds will cause temperatures in the region to drop into the low 30s. The coldest area will most likely be east of Cassopolis up to Warsaw, where temperatures could drop as low as the upper 20s.
