Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:

5:45 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 22, South SR 25, east of South CR 400W. Warsaw. Driver: Nita K. Gayheart, 26, West Kiwi Road, Claypool. Hit deer. Damage up to $5,000.

5:22 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 21, North 800W and West 850N. Nappanee. Drivers: Gordon E. Scott, Aspin Drive, Elkhart and Christie J. Hochstetler, 36, West 850N, Etna Green, Scott’s vehicle struck the back of the Hochstetler vehicle. Damage up to $10,000.

6:58 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 21, north Saddlebrook Lane and East 350N, Leesburg. Driver: Carla Snyder, 42, West Knapp Lake Road, Kimmell. Hit deer. Damage up to $1,000.

5:53 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 21, West 600N south of North Old SR 15, Leesburg. Driver: Justin L. Medert, 27, Primrose Avenue, Indianapolis. Hit deer. Damage up to $5,000.

11 p.m. Monday, Oct. 20, South County Farm Road and CR 600S, Claypool. Driver: Makita L. Till, 19, South CR 100W, Claypool. Hit deer. Damage up to $2,500.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

8:20 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 21, North Detroit Street, north of East Fort Wayne Street, Warsaw.  Drivers: Spencer T. Gareiss, 16, Country Club Road, Warsaw, and Gary S. Landis, 67, South Zimmer Road, Warsaw. Gareiss’ vehicle struck the back of the Landis vehicle. Damage up to $25,000.

5:24 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 21, East Sheridan Street, west of North Harrison Street. Driver: Lynne M. Eberle, 53, North Mark Lane, Warsaw. Eberle’s vehicle went off the road, hitting a NIPSCO pole. Damage up to $25,000.

2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 21, Frontage Road. Warsaw, Driver: Barbara L. Shepherd, 65, East CR 450N, Leesburg. Shepherd was backing from a parking space and hit a parked Fed-Ex truck. Damage up to $1,000.
