Suzanne Kinney

Suzanne Kinney, 70, of 5331 E. Old Road 30, Pierceton, was booked at the Kosciusko County Jail for forgery on Tuesday, Oct. 21.

Kinney’s charges are the result of a July incident involving the title information of a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee automobile.

According to the victim, she had traveled to Hudson to live a relative but had left her Jeep with her roommate at her previous residence. Upon returning from Hudson, she found Kinney had forged her name on the car’s title and transferred it into her own name. The victim advised she had not given Kinney permission to do this.

Kinney admitted that she had forged the other party’s name on the title for the car and sent it to Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles. She also stated the title was issued in her name on July 3.

Kinney was booked on a $2,000 surety bond.
