Hullinger Faces Felony Charges In September Accident

The Kosciusko County Prosecutor’s office has filed: failure to remain at the scene of an accident a level 3 felony; failure to remain at the scene of an accident with serious bodily injury, a level 6 felony; and causing serious bodily injury when operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, a level 6 felony.
The state filed information establishing probable cause on Oct. 17. Hullinger was scheduled to appear for an initial hearing at 1 p.m. Sept. 29.
Hullinger was initially arrested on Sept. 23 and charged with leaving the scene of a personal injury accident causing serious bodily injury.
The charges stem from a 2:20 a.m. accident on Harkless Street, Syracuse, in the area of Bowser Road, which resulted in Anna Svensson, 41, Sweden, being taken to Parkview Hospital with serious injuries to her head, chest and extremities.
While Hullinger had left the scene, witnesses were able to give police a description of the vehicle. Police later located the vehicle and driver.
Hullinger’s charges have been filed in Kosciusko County Superior Court III
