Janet Clark
Janet Clark, 61, formerly of Warsaw, passed away in Auburn, Calif., on Oct. 27, 2014, where she had resided for the past 3 years.
Janet was born on Jan. 19, 1953, in Warsaw, to Bert and Alma Ragan. The family moved to Washington in 1962. She graduated from Walla Walla High School and soon after, married Jerry Clark in 1972. After retiring, she married Don Robertson and moved to Auburn, Calif.
After spending 4 years in Oakridge, Ore., the Clarks relocated to Indiana. Janet worked at Dalton’s Foundry and later for the Indiana Department of Transportation.
Throughout her adult life she continued her education taking classes at both Ivy Tech and IU, Bloomington, earning an Associate’s Degree and lacking only a few courses for a Bachelor’s Degree. Janet was incredibly liked by everyone she met. She was faith-driven, inspirational, positive, kind, humorous, strong, sensitive, nurturing, a music lover and a grand storyteller. She was a beloved daughter, incredible sister, awesome mother, super cousin and a loyal friend. She always had a smile on her face, and laughter to share. Her faith never let her down, and she always believed the best in people, challenging situations, and life lessons. She looked at life as an adventure, and made it adventurous for anyone around her. She left many memories behind for us to remember and to share.
She is survived by her three sons: Joshua Clark, Jason Clark and Joey Shepherd; mother: Alma Ragan; sisters: Linda LoBue and Kathy Styles; grandchildren: Nicole Flory, Ashtin Clark and Cadence Shepherd.
She is preceded in death by son: Jeremy Clark; husband: Don Robertson; and brother: Daniel Ragan.
