Renewal For Stimmelator’s Alcohol License Seems Unlikely
At the November meeting of the Alcoholic Beverage Board of Kosciusko County, two North Webster business were up for renewal of their alcoholic beverage permit with a violation.
Stimmelator’s Gentlemen’s Club was one of the businesses. The establishment went before the board for renewal last month, but no representation for the business was present. As a result, a continuance for the renewal was issued, and the renewal came before the board again this month.
Again, no representation for Stimmelators showed up. By law, the commission must wait until the third continuance without representation to take action on the renewal.
However, comments from the commissioners indicates they will not likely issue a renewal for the gentlemen’s club. The commission will vote on Stimmelator’s case at its next meeting on Thursday, Dec. 4.
The other North Webster business to seek renewal with a violation was Lucky’s Tavern. Owner Jared V. Hamilton.
He stated the violation occurred on Feb. 3 when a new hire mistakenly served an underage patron. Hamilton said the bartender has since completed server training and paid her $250 fine. Lucky’s has paid its $500 fine as well.
The commission approved the renewal for Lucky’s Tavern.
Additionally, Lassus Handy Dandy locations at 1900 Plaza Drive in Warsaw and 777 Parker Street, VFW Post 1342 in Syracuse, Pie Eyed Petey’s in Leesburg and Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill in Warsaw were all up for renewals without violations. All of these renewals were approved.
