A popular local photographer, Al Disbro, has joined forces with the Animal Welfare League and myself to create a keepsake calendar for our community.

We wanted to memorialize the wonderful sculptures that so many donors helped us bring to our area for the summer of 2014.

Disbro added, “And we wanted to make it a fundraiser to help the shelter with funds for their new facility.”

We feel we have made a product everyone will love. The calendar is humorous, with everything being quoted from a dog’s viewpoint, yet it is nostalgic and beautiful with a Normal Rockwell Twist.

The calendar has photographs of local people in the community with their pets at each of the Seward Johnson Sculptures. Viewers will see many familiar faces and places. Each page is full of famous quotes as well as the individual dog quotes on each photograph.

The calendars are only $15 and proceeds will go to the Animal Welfare League. There is a limited supply of this special edition, and they make a nice Christmas gift.
