Pierceton American Legion Post 258 will host a public benefit auction and fundraiser for Bill Linn beginning at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15.

The event will include auctions for farm machinery, gift cards, new and slightly used items as well as several raffle drawings throughout the day.

Vegetable soup and grilled ham and cheese sandwiches will be served for free will donations. The public is invited to come and support a very worthy cause.

Linn lost his left arm in a mowing accident, which sent him to Lutheran Hospital via helicopter in critical condition.

Linn survived the accident, but is still healing.
