Midwest Xtreme Hosting Self-Defense Course
WARSAW – Midwest Xtreme in Warsaw will host a ‘hands-on’ two-hour women’s self-defense course facilitated by veteran law enforcement officers who are current defensive tactics instructors trained by the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy. The course will take place from 5-7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 23.
The course is open to the public for ages 16 and up, but registration is limited. The two hour course is $30 per person.
The course is ‘hands-on’ and covers the how-to’s to defend yourself against an attacker, punch strike your attacker, knee strike your attacker, face strike your attacker, “break-away” out of a choke hold from your attacker, properly use chemical spray (pepper-spray) on your attacker, and properly use a civilian Tazer on your attacker.
Throughout the course will be an ongoing question and answer session.
