Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:
6:50 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 23, Eight Square Road, east of North CR 175E, Warsaw. Driver: Sheila S. Swinehart, 37, South Edgewater Drive, Syracuse. Hit deer. Damage up to $1,000.
5:41 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 23, East CR 350N, west of North CR 100E, Warsaw. Driver: Alice J. Meredith, 77, East CR 125S, Pierceton. Meredith was blinded by headlights of an oncoming vehicle causing her to go off the road. Her vehicle hit three mailboxes owned by Dennis W. Klotz, Jeanne M. Calvin and Ellen M. Duff, before becoming stuck in the soft shoulder of road. Damage up to $2,500.
3:39 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 22. South SR 25, south of South CR 600W, Mentone. Driver: Betty M. Trump, 66, West Monoquet Road, Wasaw. Injured: Haley Koser, 15, West Monoquet Road, Warsaw, complained of pain to the knee/lower let/foot. Trump was southbound on SR 25 when the right front wheel dropped off the edge of the roadway. She was unable to regain control of the vehicle, going off the roadway into a ditch. Damage up to $10,000.
9:32 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 22, East CR 700N and North CR 300E, Leesburg. Driver: Brittin M. Boatwright, 19, North Main Street, Milford. Boatwright lost control of her vehicle on the ice covered roadway, hit a telephone pole. Damage up to $10,000.
8:05 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 22, North SR 19, north of West CR 75N, Etna Green. Driver: Cheyenne L. Jackson, 23, Jefferson Street, Rochester. Jackson lost control of her vehicle on the icy roadway, hit the guardrail. Damage up to $10,000.
7:47 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 22, East US 30 and East VanNess Road, Pierceton. Driver: Courtney E. Wallen, 25, East Sherman Street, Columbia City. The front driver side tire came off the vehicle causing her to go off the road into a ditch. Damage up to $1,000.
5:02 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 22, South CR 400E, east of South CR 700E, Pierceton. Driver: Terry L. Stephens, 58, South CR 400E, Claypool. Stephens went to turn onto CR 700S when his vehicle slid up the side of an embankment, hitting a Verizon box. Damage up to $2,500.
9:25 p.m. Friday, Nov. 21, South SR 15 south of West CR 300S, Warsaw. Driver: Kyle A. Tucker, 24, South Ferguson Road, Warsaw. Hit deer. Damage up to $5,000.
5:59 p.m. Friday, Nov. 21, North Warsaw-Oswego Road south of East Rader Road, Warsaw. Driver: Richard L. Stengel, 60, North Warsaw-Oswego Road, Warsaw. Headlights from oncoming vehicle blinded Stengel causing him to go off the road and hit a bush and mailbox. Damage up to $5,000.
5:38 p.m. Friday, Nov. 21, North SR 15 and West Van Buren Street, Leesburg. Drivers: Caitlin L. Anderson, 22, South Monroe Drive, Warsaw, and Eugene R. Hershberger, 70, South CR 1000W, Topeka. Anderson was stopped at the entrance of a gas station, attempting to turn north, failing to see the Hershberger vehicle and pulling into the path of the Hershberger vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.
3:40 p.m. Friday, Nov. 21, South SR 13, south of East 725S, Sidney. Drivers: Karter L. Benedict, 22, East CR 1300N, North Manchester, and Ruth A. Ayres, 37, North SR 13, North Manchester. Benedict’s vehicle hit the back of the Ayres vehicle, which had stopped to make a left turn. Damage up to $10,000.
3:01 p.m. Friday, Nov. 21, East Armstrong Road east of EMS T25 Lane, Leesburg. Driver; Beverly K. Hart, 74, North Fifth Trail, North Webster. Her vehicle crossed the centerline, went off the south side of the road at which time she over corrected the vehicle and lost control, going into the ditch. Damage up to $2,500.

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:
10:33 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 22. Husky Trail, south of Anchorage Road, Warsaw. Driver: J.B. Westendorf, 31, North Wayne Street, North Manchester. Deer hit vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.
