Richard Zeigler Sr.
Richard Zeigler Sr., 67, Plymouth, Ind., passed away on Nov. 24, 2014.
Dick was born on March 3, 1947, in Mishawaka, Indiana, to Harry and Dorothy (Hoover) Zeigler. He moved to Plymouth in 1967, and served his country in the Army, during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the American Legion Post #27 and the V.F.W. Post # 1162, both in Plymouth. He had been employed as a driver for Transit-Mix, in Plymouth. He enjoyed stock car racing. Richard and Sue Ann Becknell were united in marriage on May 20, 2006.
Dick is survived by his wife, Sue Ann; his daughters, Lynette (Michael) Swint of Bremen, Indiana, Katherine (Dave Hughes) Snyder of Argos, Indiana, Miranda (Chris) Singleton of Knox, Indiana, and Amy (Kenneth) Rose of South Bend, Indiana; his sons, Richard (Marianne) E. Zeigler, Jr. of Plymouth, and Eric Geldner of North Liberty, Indiana; his sisters, Carolyn Ellis of Plymouth, Barbara Knepper of Plymouth, Sandra Kasier of Mishawaka, Indiana, Sheron (David) Snyder of Osceola, Indiana, and Sue Silvers of Elkhart, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his brothers; D.Jim Zeigler and H. Butch Zeigler.
