Soon there will be another opportunity to learn and ask questions about the health insurance marketplace for Kosciusko County residents. MDwise, in partnership with the Warsaw Public Library will be hosting a community “Marketplace 101: Renew and Enroll” event to discuss how Hoosiers can enroll or renew enrollment in the Health Insurance Marketplace.
In the 2013-14 Marketplace open enrollment period, Indiana enrolled approximately 110, 000 Hoosiers into health care plans. This year, that number is expected to climb by 60 percent.
The event will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday, Dec. 10, at the Warsaw Public Library, located at 310 E. Main St. Warsaw. Representatives will be on hand to discuss the MDwise Marketplace plans and the Affordable Care Act. Some of the topics that will be addressed include:
- How to enroll for the first time.
- How to re-enroll or select a different level of coverage.
- What the consequences are of not enrolling in a health plan.
An RSVP is not required to attend.
