Plenty Of Holiday Cheer At Toys For Tots
Kosciusko County held its annual Toys For Tots toy drive from 7-11 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 6 at Warsaw City Hall. The Wawasee High School choir sang such Christmas carols as “Jingle Bells” and “We Wish You a Merry Christmas” and Santa and Mrs. Claus were on hand to welcome guests and pose for photographs.
Mayor Thallemer was in attendance as things got going before the sun was even up. Morale was high as a steady flow of people bringing donations continued throughout the morning.
Delivery of the donated toys will take place from 8 a.m to noon, Saturday, Dec. 20. The delivery may run longer depending on the amount of toys that need to be dropped off. Those who would like to volunteer to help with the delivery efforts should email Dave Morales at [email protected]. Volunteers are also needed to help sort the toys received during the toy drive.
Toy Donations will be accepted up to Dec. 15th.
