Kosciusko

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:

5:21 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 7, North CR 975E and East CR 750N, North Webster. Driver: Elizabeth S. Reeve, 17, East King Arthur Trail, Cromwell. Reeve complained of pain to the neck. Also injured were passengers: Andrew M. Tolson, 23, North CR 1200W, Cromwell, who suffered minor bleeding to the eye; and Ashton L. Walker, 16, Jay Street, Ligonier, who complained of pain to the head. Reeve told police she was going west on CR 750N, turned south onto CR 975E, but took the turn too fast. Reeve lost control of her vehicle, went off the road and collided with a tree. Damage up to $5,000.

10:09 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, South CR 750W, south of West CR 900S, Claypool. Driver: Corinnia L. Rush, 56, West Swick Road, Claypool. Hit deer. Damage up to $5,000.

9:14 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, South SR 15, north East Prairie Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Aliesha W. Stevens, 21, East Hendricks Street, Warsaw, and John M. Burtoft, 63, West Maplecrest Street, Warsaw. Stevens struck the back of the Burtoft vehicle. Damage up to $10,000.

6:20 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, East CR 100N, and North CR 575E, Warsaw. Driver: Sarah M. Flak, 25, Sandpoint Drive, Warsaw. Hit deer. Damage up to $2,500.

6:18 p.m. Friday, Dec. 5, East Winona Avenue, west of South McKinley Street, Winona Lake. Drivers: Jason A. Wilkinson, 24, North Canal Road, Rome City and Kali M. Miller, 21, East High Street, Garrett. Wilkinson struck the back of the Miller vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.

8:33 a.m. Friday, Dec. 5, South SR 25 and Rozella Road, Warsaw. Drivers: Dylan R. Stimeling, 20, South Maple Street, Akron, and Teddy R. Baker, 58, West Lutes Drive, Warsaw. Stimeling disregarded the stop sign and struck the Baker vehicle. Stimeling was cited for disregarding a stop sign. Damage up to $10,000.

7:15 a.m. Friday, Dec. 5, North CR 925E and East 250N, Pierceton. Driver: Lisa L. Rhodes, 44, E. Kyle Road, Pierceton. Hit deer. Damage up to $5,000.

5:48 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 4, East Beer Road, west of North CR 175E, Milford. Driver: Sage M. Bice, 29, East Smith Street, Milford. Bice said a racoon entered the roadway and collided with the car. Damage up to $2,500.

North Webster

Officers with the North Webster Police Department investigated the following accident:

2:12 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, South Main Street, North Webster. Driver: Colvin L. Cone, 26, EMS B42 Lane, Leesburg. Cone was backing out of a parking space and struck a parked vehicle registered to Stewart B. Shearon, East North Road, Syracuse. Damage up to $2,500.

Warsaw

Officers with Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:

6:33 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 7, South Buffalo Street, north of Boydston Street, Warsaw. Driver: Haley R. Breske, 25, Laurelwood Drive, Warsaw. Hit deer. Damage: $5,000.

8:40 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, South Buffalo Street, south of Market Street Warsaw. Driver: Valeria N. Brewer, 28, Walter Way, Warsaw.Police found Brewer passed out behind the wheel of the vehicle. Brewer was not aware of the accident. Officers report her vehicle went off the right side of the road and hit a parked vehicle registered to Andew J. Galvin, Orchard Drive Winona Lake. Brewer was checked at the scene by paramedics and then taken to the hospital for a blood draw. She was booked on a charge of public intoxication. Damage up to $5,000.

2:41 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, West Lake Street and Leiter Drive, Warsaw. Driver: Adam J. Odell, 25, Reider Street, Warsaw. Police report it appears Odell’s vehicle was eastbound on Lake Street and he attempted to make a right turn onto Leiter Drive at a high rate of speed. The vehicle crossed left of center, went over the curb and collided with a fire hydrant. The vehicle was found in the parking lot of Barker Storage. Odell came to the police department at 10:45 p.m. to report the accident. He was cited for failure to stop after an accident. Damage up to $25,000.

8:57 p.m. Friday, Dec. 5, North Indiana Street, and East Fort Wayne Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Katie M. Paulsgrove, 50, West CR 1150S, Silver Lake, and Alexander N. Miller, 19, Green Hill Drive, Warsaw. Paulsgrove pulled out in front of the Miller vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.

4:10 p.m. Friday, Dec. 5, South Buffalo Street and East Winona Avenue, Warsaw. Drivers: Dylan J. Hansen 17, North Lincoln Park, Warsaw, and Zona J. Blackburn, 47, West CR 900S, Silver Lake.  Hansen’s vehicle slide into the back of the Blackburn vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.

9:02 a.m. Friday, Dec. 5, Fisher Avenue and Ranch Road., Warsaw. Drivers: Ali Ahmari, 43, Briar Ridge Circle, Warsaw, and Melissa L. Branam, 32, Pheasant Ridge Drive, Warsaw.  Ahmari’s vehicle struck the back of the Branam vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.
