Woman Sells Drugs To Undercover Officer
Cherish Heckaman, 30, 3104 E. Wooster Road, Lot 24, Pierceton, was arrested Sunday on a warrant for dealing a schedule I, II or III controlled substance, a class B felony.
According to court documents, filed on Oct. 3, an undercover narcotics investigation was conducted at the Aloha Bar, 937 N. Detroit St., Warsaw. The investigation was conducted Sept. 26.
Sitting with a group of individuals, the undercover officer heard a female ask for some papers to snort a crushed pill.
The undercover officer asked one of the individuals in the group for percocets. While the individual did not have any pills, he was introduced to a friend of that individual. The female was later identified as Heckaman.
Heckaman told the undercover officer she had narcos or hydrocodone for sale. When she opened her purse to get the items, the agent saw a clear plastic bag containing pills and another pill bottle. She also told the undercover officer she had zanny bars (alprazolam) and provided her phone number. She stated she would have more pills the 15th of each month.
She is being held on $10,000 surety.
