Today, Indiana Governor Mike Pence released a video wishing Hoosiers a Merry Christmas.

“The holidays are a time of tradition for families all across the Hoosier state,” stated Pence. “From trimming the tree to singing carols and enjoying time with friends, loved ones and neighbors, every Hoosier family finds their own special way to celebrate the season. For me, Christmas is all about family.”

In the video he recounts Christmas memories from his own childhood. He goes on to encourage viewers to keep military personnel overseas in mind.

In closing, he stated: “And so to Hoosiers near and far, I say, from my family to yours, Merry Christmas, Indiana. May you each enjoy a safe and blessed holiday season.”
