BREAKING: Accident At Colfax and Sheridan In Warsaw
One person was taken to Kosciusko Community Hospital with pain to the knee/lower leg/foot following an accident Wednesday. Flannery was injured in a two-vehicle accident at 1:14 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 7, at North Colfax Street, south of East Sheridan Street, Warsaw.
According Warsaw Police Lisa M. Armey, 44, East Island View Drive, Warsaw, was southbound on Colfax and stopped for the stop sign at Sheridan Street. Armey said she checked for traffic and did not see any vehicles, entering the intersection. Once Armey was in the intersection, her vehicle was struck by Flannery’s vehicle.
Flannery told police she attempted to avoid the collision but was unable to do so. The impact pushed Flannery’s vehicle onto the property of Eric R. Streby, 1702 E. Sheridan Street.
Damage was estimated up to $50,000.

Reports indicate that airbags deployed in at least one of the vehicles and injuries were reported.
