Indiana Colleges Recognized For Online Programs
US News and World Report has included several Indiana colleges and universities on a list ranking the best online degree programs. The IU Kelley School of Business was rated number one among all online MBA and graduate business degree programs.
Five schools from Indiana made the top 200 for bachelor’s degrees, based on factors which included graduation rates, academic support services, faculty training, technology and student engagement, among others. They are:
* Ball State University and Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne, which tied for 34th along with Charleston Southern University in South Carolina, St. John’s University in New York, University of Minnesota-Crookston and University of Missouri-Kansas City;
* Indiana University, which placed 72nd along with Boise State University in Idaho, California State University-Chico, Franklin University in Ohio, Peirce College in Pennsylvania, University of Alabama-Birmingham and University of Wisconsin-Green Bay;
* University of Southern Indiana, which placed 180th with University of Cincinnati, Webber International University in Florida and William Woods University in Missouri;
* St. Mary-of-the-Woods College, which placed 199th along with Baptist College of Florida, Belhaven University in Mississippi, Dallas Baptist University, Moody Bible Institute of Chicago, Rogers State University in Oklahoma, the University of Central Oklahoma and University of Louisiana-Lafayette.
Among all categories listed by US News and World Report, Indiana colleges also appeared on the following lists:

Bethel College – ranked, but not published on bachelor’s list
Huntington University – ranked, but not published on bachelor’s list
Indiana State University – graduate education, graduate nursing
Indiana University – graduate business, graduate education, MBA
Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis – graduate nursing
Purdue University – graduate education, graduate engineering
Trine University – ranked, but not published on bachelor’s list, graduate criminal justice
