Mason Leads The Way In Triton Win
NEW CARLISLE – The Triton girls basketball team cruised past host New Prairie 51-28 Tuesday night.
Kylie Mason netted 18 points as the Trojans won the Northern State Conference contest.
Jaela Meister scored 14 points and Becca Kennedy had 13 for Triton.
The Trojans hit seven treys in the win with Mason making four from distance and Kennedy the other three.
Triton led 15-7 after the opening period en route to the easy win.
Triton won the junior varsity game 51-11.
Triton, now 10-5 overall and 3-1 in the NSC, hosts Culver Friday night and Oregon-Davis Saturday night. New Prairie, which drops to 5-9 overall and 1-3 in the NSC, plays at Plymouth Thursday and at Jimtown Saturday.
