Elkhart County Investigate Threats At Concord High School
Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department was notified at approximately 9:44 a.m. today by Concord High School officials concerning a bomb threat found by a student on the bathroom stall of the girl’s bathroom.
As precautionary measures for the message found, school officials, working with officers investigating the threat, locked the school down and began searches of the building to include the use of a dog trained in identifying explosives. The lock down was lifted at approximately 11:30 a.m.
The Sheriff’ Department is taking necessary steps to maintain the safety of the school and is conducting an investigation into who made the threat. Additional information will be provided when the school is no longer on lock down.
