WINONA LAKE – Grace College’s softball team, under head coach Heather Johnson, will be hosting two winter skills clinic on Jan. 31 and Feb. 1.

The weekend clinics, both held at Grace’s Gordon Recreation Center, feature specialized training from the Lady Lancers’ coaching staff and players.

The Winter Fundamentals Clinic on Jan. 31 is for kindergarten through eighth grade. Three sessions are available for registration, including one for pitchers and catchers, one for offensive skills and baserunning, and one for advanced fielding and overall skill enhancement.

Grace will host its Winter Elite Clinic on Feb. 1 for 7-12th grade students. The morning session focuses on skill instruction for pitchers and catchers, and the afternoon session focuses on advanced hitting, speed and defensive techniques.
