ELKHART – Warsaw didn’t have much to keep up with a pair of local gymnastics powers Saturday at the East-West Invite hosted by Elkhart Central. Michigan City won the meet with a staggering 105.95 point total ahead of Elkhart Central’s 104.25.

East Noble were third at 96.95, West Noble fourth at 86.25, Warsaw fifth at 68.6 and Westview had one competitor, totaling 31.1.

Jazzmine Brown’s vault routine scored an 8.8, landing eighth overall, giving Warsaw it’s only top-eight score of the afternoon.

Event winners from the invite included Kiara Stabler of Elkhart Central on vault at 9.3, Libby Yeakey of Elkhart Central on beam at 8.75, and Ashley Koza of Michigan City on bars at 9.3, floor at 9.35 and all-around at 36.35.

Warsaw will compete at home Tuesday against Homestead.
