Council Amends Inter Local Pact
The inter local agreement between the town of North Webster and the Knapp Lake Regional Sewer District in Noble County was amended at the North Webster Town Council meeting Tuesday evening at the North Webster Community Center. Required by the Rural Development Agency of the U.S. Department of Agriculture for grant approval and financing it basically extended the same deal already stuck with KLRSD to any other holders of the still to be built sewer treatment facility and system.
As stated in the original agreement, no cost of operations would be born by North Webster. If the capacity of the North Webster sewage treatment plant is at a maximum, the usage would be prorated between the two organizations.
