Ava Grace Sizemore
Ava Grace Sizemore, 7 months, of Warsaw, passed away peacefully in her parent’s arms at 12:35 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 27, at Riley Hospital for Children, Indianapolis.
She was born on June 4, 2014, to Jason and Jerika (Aker) Sizemore in Warsaw.
After being diagnosed with severe combined immune deficiency and undergoing a stem cell transplant, she had a four month battle with many complications. She was so strong and proved the doctors to be wrong so many times, until our little angel was called to our Lord. Though she will be dearly missed by so many! During her short seven months she touched and changed so many lives for the better, she is a true inspiration and will forever be our hero. She is loved deeply by family, friends and people who had never met her before. Her life was a brief gift to us that will never be forgotten. During her brief visit on Earth she loved music, soft blankets and toys and being held close by her parents.
Ava Grace is survived by her parents; a brother: Alex Sizemore; and sister: Makia Lucas; paternal grandparents: Kathy and James Dawson, Leesburg; maternal grandparents: Jodi Lines, Warsaw; Troy and Jessie Aker, Kissimmee, Fla.
A viewing will be held at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3.
Her funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 4, at the funeral chapel with Pastor Brian Lowe of New Life Christian Church & World Outreach officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
