Wizard World Comic Con Coming To Indianapolis
Wizard World, Inc. (OTCBB: WIZD) continues its 2015 schedule with its first trip to the Indianapolis Convention Center at Wizard World Comic Con Indianapolis, Feb. 13-15. William Shatner (“Star Trek,” “Boston Legal”), Liam McIntyre (“Spartacus: War of the Damned,” “The Legend of Hercules”), Katie Cassidy (“Arrow,” “Gossip Girl”), WWE® Divas The Bella Twins, James & Oliver Phelps (Harry Potter) and “The Walking Dead” stars Emily Kinney (Concussion), Michael Cudlitz (“Southland”), Sonequa Martin-Green (“Once Upon a Time”), Michael Rooker (Guardians of the Galaxy) and Andrew J. West (Walter) headline the roster of celebrity guests scheduled to attend the pop culture extravaganza.
Shatner will attend on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 13,14; the Bella Twins will appear on Saturday only; McIntyre, Cassidy, the Phelpses, Kinney, Cudlitz, West and Martin-Green will attend on Saturday and Sunday; and Rooker is scheduled for all three days of the event.
Other well-known Wizard World Comic Con Indianapolis guests include Paul Blackthorne (“Arrow,” “24”), Gigi Edgley (“Jim Henson’s Creature Shop Challenge,” “Farscape”), Anthony Montgomery (“Star Trek: Enterprise,” “Single Ladies”), James Marsters (“Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” “Caprica”), Jake Lloyd (Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace, “ER”), Lou Ferrigno (“The Incredible Hulk”), Jason David Frank (“Mighty Morphin Power Rangers”), Caroll Spinney (“Sesame Street”) and the Boondock Saints duo of Sean Patrick Flanery and David Della Rocco.
Wizard World is also the home of the most creative comics artists and writers on the planet. Artist Alley at Indianapolis Comic Con will feature Neal Adams (“Batman,” “X-Men”), Jim Salicrup (“Fantastic Four,” “Avengers”), John Tyler Christopher (“Amazing Spider-Man,” “Avengers Arena”), James O’Barr (“The Crow”), Michael Golden (“Spider-Man,” “Daredevil”), Arthur Suydam (“Marvel Zombies,” “Army of Darkness”), Stuart Sayger (“Infestation 2: 30 Days Of Night,” “Machete”) and many others.
In addition, all full-price Wizard World Comic Con Indianapolis attendees will receive a limited edition exclusive variant cover “The Walking Dead” comic, drawn by one of Wizard World’s talented artist guests (to be announced shortly). Comics will be issued at registration while supplies last and VIP attendees will receive an additional black & white sketch version.
Wizard World Comic Con events bring together thousands of fans of all ages to celebrate the best in pop-fi, pop culture, movies, graphic novels, cosplay, comics, television, sci-fi, toys, video gaming, gaming, original art, collectibles, contests and more. The fourth of 24 events currently scheduled on the 2015 Wizard World calendar, Indianapolis Comic Con show hours are 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 13; 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 14; 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 15.
Wizard World Comic Con Indianapolis is also the place for cosplay, with fans young and old showing off their best costumes throughout the event. Fans dressed as every imaginable character – and some never before dreamed – will roam the convention floor and participate in the famed Wizard World Costume Contest on Saturday night.
