Federal Prisoner Headed To Indiana Escaped In Georgia
Sean Killion, who was being transported by U.S. marshals from Florida to Indiana on federal drug charges, overpowered a guard and escaped in Cartersville, GA, at approximately 7 p.m. Wednesday night, Feb. 4.
Killion reportedly shoved the guard and ran when the private transport van stopped for a restroom break at a gas station about 40 miles northwest of Atlanta. A female guard gave chase and caught up to him, but he broke away after a struggle.
The guard was taken to a hospital for treatment of an injury sustained during the escape. Authorities have been searching for Killion since Wednesday evening, he remains a fugitive.
