NorthWood Pulls Off Freshman Win
NAPPANEE – NorthWood handed Wawasee its sixth freshman boys basketball loss of the season Monday night in a 50-40 result at The Pit.
Wawasee had a trio of players all record nine points, but could not keep pace with the Panthers’ offensive prowess. Jairus Boyer, Jacob Hand and John Kennedy all hit for nine points for the Warriors in the loss.
The Warriors fall to 9-6 overall in its final regular season contest, which was a makeup game from earlier in the season. Wawasee and NorthWood both will conclude its seasons Saturday in the Northern Lakes Conference tournament held at Plymouth.
