Vikings Share League Lead
DENVER – The Tippecanoe Valley boys basketball team moved into a tie atop the conference standings in a big way Thursday night.
The Vikings rolled past host North Miami 75-34 in Three Rivers Conference action.
Valley improves to 5-1 in TRC play to sit in a tie for first place with both Manchester and Southwood.
The Vikings led 25-12 after the opening quarter en route to the league rout.
Neil Clampitt tossed in 22 points, including hitting for treys, to lead Valley.
Alex Thacker had 17 points for the Vikings, who are now 11-7 overall.
North Miami drops to 2-17 overall and 0-7 in the TRC.
Valley hosts Southwood in a key TRC game Saturday afternoon.
