BOURBON – A quartet of Triton High School wrestlers were honored by the Indiana High School Wrestling Association for their academic work in conjunction with their work on the mats this season.

Grant Stichter, Justin Hefner and Nate Spangle were all honored as Senior Academic All-State Honorable Mention recipients, and Jeremy Jones was selected to the Junior Academic All-State team.

Stichter was a sectional champion in the 152-pound class at the Plymouth Sectional as was Spangle at Plymouth in the 170-pound class while Spangle also was a regional runner-up at Rochester and a Northern State Conference champion.

Jones was a regional qualifier in the 220-pound class and Hefner a semi-state qualifier in the heavyweight division after second and fourth-place finishes at the sectional and regional, respectively.
