Kosciusko

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department responded to the following accident:

6:17 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24, South SR 15, south of West Union Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Marjeanna L. Worley, 48, East Sycamore Street, Silver Lake, and Michelle E. Hartman, 43, South CR 800E, Akron. Worley’s windshield became covered in snow from the snow plow in front of her, causing her to lose sight and control of her vehicle. Hartman could not avoid hitting Worley’s vehicle when it spun out and turned sideways on the road. Damage up to $10,000.

Winona Lake

Officers with the Winona Lake Police Department responded to the following accident:

3:43 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24, South Country Club Road and East Tulip Tree Drive, Winona Lake. Drivers: Kennedy D. Hart, 17, South CR 500E, Warsaw, and Kaitlin R. Hopkins, 17, East CR 800S, Claypool. Hart was unable to slow in time to keep from striking Hopkins’ vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.
