Sharon L. Harris
Sharon L. Harris, 74, of Nappanee, passed away peacefully at 5:20 p.m. Sunday, March 1, 2015, at the Hospice House in Elkhart.
She was born July 15, 1940, in Kosciusko County, to Harold D. ‘Fustie’ and Opal (Smith) Reprogle. She was a lifetime area resident. She had worked at Coppes Kitchen, and eventually retired from RB Gustafson Corporation. Ms. Harris loved horses, camping and was an avid bird watcher. She was also an artist and painted watercolors. Sharon married Eugene A. Harris on Dec. 20, 1974, and he passed away on Jan. 26, 1977.
Surviving are a daughter: Susan (Richard) Bontrager, New Paris; eight grandchildren; Shaunia (Trey) Cripe, Goshen; grandsons: Cheyne (Ashley) Stouder, Nappanee, and Joshua (Bridgett) Stouder, New Paris; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sister: Rita (Phil) Charters, Pierceton.
Preceding her in death are daughters: Laura Stouder; and infant daughter Erin Mary; and sisters: Gay Reprogle and Rose Marie Newhard.
There will be a funeral service at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 4, at The Living Gospel Church in Nappanee. Pastor Mike Raasch will officiate. Burial will follow at Union Center Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Hospice House in Elkhart. Arrangements are with Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee.
