Kosciusko
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:
3:37 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, East CR 600S, west of South SR 13, Warsaw. Driver: Carolyn S. Anderson, 52, South East Channel Road, Warsaw. Anderson’s car hit a patch of ice, went off the road and into a utility pole. Damage up to $2,500.
8:25 a.m. Tuesday, March 3, SR 19, north of CR 1000S, Mentone. Driver: Julie A. Kneller, 24, North CR 1000E, Akron. Kneller complained of pain to the upper leg but did request medical attention at the scene. Kneller lost control of her vehicle on the icy road, skidding off the road and snapping off an REMC pole. Damage up to $5,000.
8:18 a.m. Tuesday, March 3, East US 30, east of South CR 450E, Warsaw. Driver: Kathryn M. Stemen, 30, North Parks Shram Road, Warsaw, and Cheraman Vamadevan, 49, Club Course Drive, Fort Wayne. Vamadevan suffered minor bleeding to the lower arm, but did not require further medical attention. Transported were three passengers in the Stemen vehicle: Dailyn Stemen, 7, suffering minor bleeding to the face; Kylee Anders, 10, suffering minor bleeding to the face; and Issac Stemen, 5, who complained of pain to the neck. All three were from North Parks Shram Road, Warsaw. Kathryn Stemen was eastbound on US 30 when she lost control of her vehicle due to icy road conditions, went across the median into the westbound lane colliding with the Vamadevan vehicle. Damage up to $25,000.
2 p.m. Monday, March 2, SR 15N and VanBuren Street, Leesburg. Drivers: William M. Mignery, 28, East Iris Drive, Syracuse, and Michael L Vint, 36, US 6, Syracuse. Mignery’s vehicle struck the back of the Vint vehicle. Damage up to $10,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
7:21 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, South Park Avenue and East Market Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Jeremy L. Morgan, 33, Maye Street, Warsaw, and Kevin A. Tyree, 49, North Anthony Boulevard, Fort Wayne. Morgan stated he put on his left turn signal to make a left turn from Market onto South Park Avenue, when Tyree started to pass hi on the left, sideswiping his vehicle. Police found the back turn signal was not operational in the vehicle. Morgan was cited for driving while suspended. Damage up to $5,000.
3:06 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, North CR 150W and Lake City Highway, Warsaw. Drivers: Joshua B. Woodcock, 17, Wexford Place, Warsaw, and Dawn M. Yoder, 42, Emerson Court, Goshen. Woodcock struck the back of the Yoder vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.
3:01 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, East Center Street and South Scott Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Jordyn K. Lindeman, 17, West CR 200S, Warsaw, and Travis R. Lane, 18, North Grouse Court, Warsaw. Lindeman’s vehicle struck the back of the Lane vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.
