World’s Oldest Cat Celebrates 27th Birthday
Tiffany Two, the oldest living cat according to The Guinness Book of World Records, celebrated her 27th birthday with a party thrown by owner Sharron Voorhees this weekend in San Diego.
For a cat, 27 years is equal to approximately 125 years for humans. Voorhees said that despite her age, Tiffany Two gets around well, has good vision and hearing and only recently started eating moist food instead of dry.
While Tiffany Two is currently the oldest living cat, she is not yet the oldest cat of all time. That world record title belongs to a cat named Creme Puff from Texas, who lived 38 years and three days. Creme Puff passed away in 2005.
