Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:
8:28 p.m. Monday, March 26, East 900N, east of North SR 13, Syracuse. Driver: Sandra L. Atkins, 53, North Hartzler St., Warsaw. Hit deer. Damage up to $2,500.
11:59 p.m. Saturday, March 14, North SR 13, north of East CR 200N, Pierceton. Driver: Devan G. Courter, 20, South 900W, Pierceton. Struck a large tire in the roadway. Damage up to $1,000.
12:28 p.m. Saturday, March 14, West US 30 and North CR 750W, Atwood. Drivers: Elizabeth Burkholder, 67, West Old Road 30, Warsaw; Samuel W. Bentz, 57, West CR 800N, Huntington; and, Ryan D. Winter, 39, S. Wray Street, Atwood. Burkholder did not see the westbound Bentz vehicle as she started to cross US 30. The Bentz vehicle struck the Burkholder vehicle, causing it to spin and hit the Winter vehicle sitting in the median waiting to travel westbound on US 30. Damage p to $5,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
5:06 p.m. Monday, March 16, Lake City Highway, west of East Old Road 30, Warsaw. Drivers: Jose R. Flores Casas, 62, East Wooster Road, Pierceton and Bianca L. Feltre, 27, Royal Hanna Drive, Rockford, Mich. Casas vehicle struck the back of the Feltre vehicle. Damage up to $10,000.
4:32 p.m. Monday, March 16, Glad Street, Warsaw. Driver: Dove Broadfoot, 45, West Second Street, North Manchester. Broadfoot was backing from a parking space and stuck a parked vehicle registered to Nanci E. Emel, North CR 175E, Warsaw. Damage: up to $2,500.
7:04 p.m. Saturday, March 14, Walton Boulevard, Warsaw. Amanda S. Blanton, North Lake Street, Warsaw, was notified that her vehicle was struck while parked at Game Stop. The driver of the other vehicle backed out of a parking space hitting the front of her vehicle and left the scene. Damage under $750.
11 a.m. Saturday, March 14, South West Point Drive, north of West Baker Street, Warsaw. Matthew R. Powell, West Point Drive, Warsaw, reported a vehicle parked in his driveway was struck. Damage up to $2,500
