Center Street Community Theatre Putting On ‘Almost, Maine’
The Center Street Community Theatre opens the doors this weekend for the spring production of “Almost, Maine” by John Cariani. Performances are scheduled for March 20, 21 and 22 at the Wagon Wheel Center for the Arts. Tickets are available at Wagonwheelcenter.com, by phone at (574) 267-8041, or at the box office.
“I think the community will really enjoy this play,” says Phil Herbruck, director and member of the theater’s leadership team. “It’s touching, it’s incredibly funny, and it’s very unique. Each scene tells its own story, but they are thematically related – similar to the film Love, Actually.”
“Almost, Maine” is rated PG-13 for mild language and some innuendo.
The Center Street Community Theatre is the most recent addition to the Wagon Wheel Center for the Arts’ initiatives. The community theatre’s first production, “You Can’t Take It With You,” was performed at the Wagon Wheel Theatre in October 2014.
