Annual Bunny Bash At Charley Creek Gardens
Calling all boys and girls to the annual “Bunny Bash” at its new location, the Charley Creek Gardens from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 4. Charley Creek Gardens, newly acquired by the Honeywell Foundation, is located at 551 North Miami St. in Wabash. Bunny Bash is sponsored by Guenin Law Offices.
The bigger than life-sized bunny rabbit will greet all his visitors, hand out sweet treats, and pose for pictures. Fun activities will also take place including, Bunny Tail Painting, Flower Press Art, and dye-coloring Easter eggs with the Wabash Extension Homemakers and Purdue Extension.
Bunny Bash is open to the public with all activities being free of charge. Those parents wishing to have photos of their children with the Easter Bunny are to bring their own cameras. For more information about the Bunny Bash, contact the Honeywell Center Box Office at (260) 563-1102 or check out the website at www.honeywellcenter.org.
The addition of the Charley Creek Gardens and Dr. James Ford Home fits nicely within the Honeywell Foundation. The initial vision for the use of the Charley Creek Gardens and Dr. James Ford Historic Home included preserving historic assets, creating places for civic renewal, and leveraging Wabash’s arts and cultural assets. This vision blends well with the Honeywell Foundation mission of providing “artistic, social, cultural, and recreational opportunities for all.” The Honeywell Foundation also currently owns and operates the Honeywell Center, Eagles Theatre, Honeywell House and operates the 13-24 Drive In.
