Emergency personnel are currently responding to an accident located at 2724 East Old Road 30 where a vehicle collided into a tree.

According to officials, one male driver was traveling eastbound on Old Road 30 when he reportedly fell asleep. The driver went off the north side of the road where he struck a mailbox and continued through two yards before colliding with a tree in a third yard.

The driver is being transported to an area hospital by EMS.
