Are you looking for some help with your college tuition? Have you applied for the Kosciusko REMC John H. Anglin Scholarship?
Kosciusko REMC awards six $1,000 scholarships to specially selected high school seniors, current college students, or current graduate students each year. Scholarships are awarded based on academic achievement, financial need, community involvement, and leadership skills. Through an independent judging panel, applicants are screened and interviewed to determine the recipients of these funds.
“Now in its twelfth year the scholarship program has awarded $66,000 in scholarships,” said KREMC President & CEO Bruce Goslee. “We are proud to continue this commitment by offering these scholarships. There is no better investment we know of for helping keep our community strong.”
Scholarship applications are available online at www.kremc.com, under the “Community & Youth Programs” menu. All applications must be received by 5 p.m. Thursday, April 30.
KREMC is a member-owned Touchstone Energy electric cooperative serving over 17,000 members throughout Kosciusko County and into surrounding counties.
