‘The Last Potluck Supper’ Coming To Honeywell
The Church Basement Ladies series will present its final installment, “The Last Potluck Supper,” with two showings on at 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 14 at the Honeywell Center’s Ford Theater.
The popular series began at the Plymouth Playhouse in Minneapolis with the first installment, “Church Basement Ladies,” in 2005. Its sequel, “A Second Helping of The Church Basement Ladies,” followed by “Away in the Basement: A Church Basement Ladies Christmas” and “A Mighty Fortress is Our Basement” have been seen in venues across the nation to sell-out crowds.
Audiences have fallen in love with these ladies of the church basement, and all agree that each new installment gets better and better. What’s more, one does not have to have seen past installments in order to know what’s going on. As the St. Paul Pioneer Press says: “The genius in the writing of Church Basement Ladies is that familiarity with previous incarnations is optional.”
Tickets for “The Last Potluck Supper” are $12, $18 and $25 and may be purchased at the Honeywell Center box office from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, by calling (260) 563-1102 or visiting www.honeywellcenter.org.
