Chautauqua-Wawasee announces upcoming events persons in the community may be of interest.
“The Promise and Perils of Human Enhancement: Will Technology Put an End to Disability?” that takes place Thursday, April 23. Enjoy a wonderful, catered dinner, be one of the first to screen the award winning documentary “Fixed: The Science/Fiction of Human Enhancement” and engage experts with key health, science, technology and ethics questions. Oakwood is also offering a very affordable overnight lodging package.
You can also hear the winner of “The Voice,” Josh Kaufman, in concert on Friday, May 22.
Learn about life-giving workshops on Tuesday, June 16, recitals and concerts in July, a Tour des Lakes bike ride and more. Don’t forget to mark your calendar for a program with Kaye Lindauer from Oct. 11 until Oct. 13.
