Marie Annell Archambeault
Marie Annell Archambeault, 69, of Argos, died at 8:30 p.m. March 31, 2015, at the Saint Joseph Regional medical Center, Plymouth, following a six month illness.
She was born on Oct. 1, 1945, in Argos, to Clarence and Marie (Haller) Archambeault and had lived most of her life in the Argos community.
Annell was a beautician working at several beauty salons having owned Annell’s Shear Designs from 1981 to 1988. She also was a Bartender at Scub’s Bar in Argos, and retired in 2013 from Wal-Mart. She was a graduate of Argos High School with the class of 1963.
A member of the Argos American Legion Auxiliary for 37 years and is currently the Sergeant of Arms.
Annell is survived by her son: Tony W. Thompson, Argos; daughter: Tanna M. (Craig) Sroda, Mishawaka; grandchildren: Abigail, Allison and Emily Sroda, Mishawaka; sister: Ida Mae (Claude) Ratliff, Falls Church, Va.; brother: John J. (Rose) Archambeault, Argos;
special friends: Sheila Nelson and family, Granger; and Katey McClanahan and family, South Bend.
She is preceded in death by her parents, sisters: Rita J. Marks; Deloris Kay Gordon; and Alice Rene Harley.
Graveside Services will be at 12 p.m. April 8, at the Maple Grove Cemetery with funeral rites preformed by the Argos American Legion Auxiliary
