Miller Health Systems Announces Several Recent Promotions

Millers Health Systems has announced several recent promotions.
RN Jennifer Gappa, has been promoted to the position of senior vice president of human resources. Gappa is a certified HR Professional-PHR and S-CP and licensed as a health facilities administrator. She earned her RN from Purdue and bachelor’s degree from St. Francis College and holds an MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University. She has extensive long term care experience as an administrator, director of nursing, nurse sonsultant and Medicare nurse specialist.
Since joining the staff of Miller’s 16 years ago, she has served as the administrator of Miller’s facilities in New Carlisle and Logansport before assuming the position of VP of Human Resources in 2010. In addition to the established duties of the HR Department, Patrick Boyle, president/CEO of Miller’s Health Systems, Inc., cites Gappa’s wide-ranging clinical management experience and her advanced education as key to her role of promoting the company’s emphasis on skill training, policy development, and leadership enrichment. Gappa and husband, AJ, have three grown children and reside at Bass Lake.
Scott Revere has been promoted to vice president of information technology. In his position, Revere is responsible for oversight of the IT Department staff and operations serving the company’s 33 nursing homes and 12 assisted living communities, as well as its therapy and home health care companies.

He has earned his place as a strategic member of our team, and I congratulate him.”
Revere joined the Miller’s staff in 2011 as corporate IT manager/network administrator, and has worked for 25 years in the information systems field serving previously as an IT manager and senior technical specialist. He holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science/systems analysis from Taylor University. Revere and wife, Staci, live in Warsaw and have three children. He is a member of the Miller’s PAC, and attends Sacred Heart Church, where he has served on the building committee and played on the softball team. He coached at Warsaw Little League for many years, and was a volunteer coach for the Warsaw and Tippecanoe Valley football programs.
Boyle also announced the promotion of Brad Harris to senior vice president of healthcare development. In his position, Harris is responsible for developing strategies related to ACOs; efficient post-acute healthcare delivery including rehabilitation-to-home programs, home health care services utilization; and population health.
In addition, Harris oversees development and promotion of services of the 34 rehabilitation centers and 12 assisted living communities, along with the therapy and Home Health Care companies that make up the Miller’s portfolio.

Harris has been a part of the Miller’s staff for nearly 28 years, serving previously as vice president of financial services, and for the last four years as vice president of healthcare development. He is a CPA and holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Indiana State University and a master’s degree in management from Indiana Wesleyan University.
Harris and wife, Angie, live in Warsaw and have four children and three grandchildren. He has participated on a variety of community boards, and is currently the Treasurer of the Kosciusko Community YMCA. He is an active member of Warsaw Community Church and has coached and refereed for many years in the greater Kosciusko County area.
