Kosciusko

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:

7:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 8, East Armstrong Road, east of North CR 75E, Warsaw. Driver: Drew A Cripe, 19, North Kalorama Road, Leesburg. Cripe was westbound traveling too fast and lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle went off the road and struck a mailbox owned by Brent A. Lursen. Damage up to $10,000.

9:07 a.m. Sunday, April 5, East McClintic Road and North CR 800E, Syracuse. Drivers: Richard L. Mead, 52, North Happiness Drive, Syracuse, and Cyrus J. Corrao, 30, North CR 650W, Ligonier. Mead’s vehicle crossed the center line as it entered the curve hitting the side of the Corrao vehicle. Damage up to $5,000.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:

4:43 p.m. Wednesday, April 8, North Detroit Street, Warsaw. Driver: Joshua S. Barker, 40, North Third Street, Warsaw. Barker turned his vehicle wide to park in a parking space hitting a parked vehicle registered to Marcus A. Trice, Lakeridge Place, Fort Wayne. Damage up to $2,500.
