Willodean ‘Kit’ Langohr
Willodean ‘Kit’ Langohr, 87, of Pierceton, passed away at 6:28 p.m. Friday, April 17, 2015, at her home.
Born on Aug. 3, 1927, in Kosciusko County, she was the daughter of Darrell F. and Ruthie M. (Madison) Menzie.
She graduated from Warsaw High School with the class of 1945. On June 3, 1944, she married Billy E. Langohr in Columbia City. In 1956 they moved from Columbia City to Pierceton. Besides taking care of her family and doing general farming, she was a dental assistant for Dr. Robert Langohr and a past co-owner of Builders Supply in Columbia City. She was a member of Morris Chapel United Methodist Church and a proud 4-H leader.
Survivors include her children: Craig (Susan) Langohr, Columbia City; Scott (Betty) Langohr, Jeff (Vickie) Langohr and Holly (Raymond) White, all of Pierceton; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Billy E. Langohr; and great-granddaughter: Kaylee Siefert.
At the request Willodean there will no visitation or service.
Memorials may be given in memory of Willodean to Morris Chapel United Methodist Church. All arrangements were entrusted by DeMoney-Grimes Funeral Home.
