Marian’s Cannady Named An All-Star
INDIANAPOLIS – Devin Cannady of Mishawaka Marian has been named an Indiana All-Star by IndyStar.com.
Cannady, a 6-0 guard bound for Princeton, was the lone area player selected to the All-Star squad.
Cannady becomes the second Marian player to earn All-Star honors in the last three years. Demetrius Jackson, who just recently completed his sophomore season at Notre Dame, was an All-Star choice in 2013.

Cannady shot 56 percent from two-point range, 45 percent from 3-point land and 90 percent from the free throw line in leading the Knights to a 20-1 season.
The IndyStar.com team is headlined by Mr. Basketball Caleb Swanigan of Homestead. The 6-9 Swanigan averaged 22 points and 13 rebounds per game in leading his team to the Class 4-A state championship. Swanigan has committed to Michigan State.
