Egg Innovations Breaks Ground On Noble County Feed Mill
Egg Innovations held a groundbreaking event Wednesday, April 22 – Earth Day, to start the new expansion of their mill in Noble County. The feed mill project is estimated at $3.8 million and is adjacent to an existing Egg Innovations facility. The property is 20 acres and allows for future expansion, while also creating new job opportunities for area.
The mill is designed as an organic and non-GMO facility, in keeping with Egg Innovations high quality standards. The design, by Sunfield Engineering, also allows for flexibility in shipping and receiving the grain and feed, including through truck, rail or sea freight carriers. The millwrights and machinery will be built by Jackson Industrial.
“This is an exciting time for us and we’re proud to support our local communities with job growth,” said John Brunnquell, president of Egg Innovations. “We are also hopeful to stimulate local grain growers to transition to organic production by providing a long-term local customer.”
Egg Innovations has worked closely with Noble County’s Economic Development Corporation along with Cromwell’s City Council to create a five year tax abatement.
The mill is expected to be completed in November of this year.
