Kosciusko
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents:
10:21 a.m. East Pierceton Road east of CR 275E, Warsaw. Driver unknown. Police report the unknown driver of the vehicle was eastbound on Pierceton Road and failed to negotiate a left hand curve. The vehicle went off the road, hitting a REMC guide wire and several mailboxes. The driver fled the scene prior to the arrival of police. Ashley J. Bratten, registered owner of the vehicle, reported it stolen at 10:49 p.m. The accident is still under investigation. Damage up to $10,000.
3:39 p.m. Saturday, April 25, East Levi Lee Road and North Old SR 15, Warsaw. Drivers: Jeremy J. Schue, 36, North CR 175E, Warsaw, and Rosalio Alvarez, 18, East Levi Lee Road, Warsaw. Schue attempting to turn onto Levi Lee Road and pulled into the path of the Alvarez vehicle. Damage up to $10,000.
3:31 p.m. Friday, April 24, West CR 900S east of South SR 19, Akron. Driver: Sandra K. Inglehearn, 46, North CR 650E, Warsaw. Hit deer. Damage up to $10,000.
3:22 p.m. Friday, April 24, South SR 25 and West CR 200S, Warsaw. Drivers: Sophia E. McMillan, 20, East Hovey Street, Atwood, and Delmar Estep, 43, South Franklin Street, Mentone. McMillan failed to see the Estep vehicle before entering the intersection. Damage up to $25,000.
Milford
Officers with the Milford Police Department investigated the following accident:
10:10 a.m. Friday, April 24, West Emeline Street, Milford. Drivers: Noah F. Hendrickson, 49, Country Club Road, Warsaw, and Rosemary Method, 77, East Camp Mack Road, Milford. Hendrickson’s view was obstructed by a delivery truck and tried to drive around the parked truck, hitting the Method vehicle. Damage up to $1,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
5:48 a.m. Sunday, April 26, US 30 and Parker Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Chase A. Miller, 21, East SR 5, Knox, and Jamie I. Close, 37, East CR 400N, Leesburg. Miller suffered a contusion/bruise to the head, no refused medical treatment. Miller’s vehicle hit the back of the Close vehicle. Miller cited for following too closely and false or fictitious license plate. Damage up to $25,000.
5:22 p.m. Saturday, April 25, East Winona Avenue, Warsaw. Drivers: Lindsey A. Lucas, 23, South Jefferson Street, Silver Lake, and Harrison W. Montgomery, 27, Laurelwood Drive, Warsaw. Lucas began to back from a parking space at the same time Montgomery backed from a parking space from the opposite side of the isle, causing the collision. Damage up to $2,500.
11:51 a.m. Saturday, April 25, Union Street, south of Market Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Richard A. Bradford, 65, East Main Street, Warsaw, and Rodney S. Hettler, 35, Dunn Street, Plainfield. Bradford turned the corner too wide hitting the Hetler vehicle. Damage up to $1,000.
